2 for 1 window treatments combining the softness of sheers with the look of shutters

Many clients choose sheer curtains to diffuse light or to soften the look of a room. Then they install blinds for privacy at night and as insulation from winter chills or summer scorchers. Other clients select window shutters because they love the look and the ability to angle the vanes to prevent glare and provide privacy. But the downside of window shutters is they require a lot of room if you want to open them up to get the full benefit of natural light.

However, the Silhouette^® and Pirouette^® Shading ranges from Luxaflex^® mean you don’t need to choose. You can have it all. Here’s how.

Silhouette^® Shadings feature soft, horizontal S-shaped vanes placed between 2 sheer fabric panels, so the vanes appear to be floating.
 
Having an S-shaped vane means incoming light bounces off the vane and onto the ceiling to naturally brighten your room with a diffused glow. Luxaflex^® has designed the weave on the front and rear sheer facings to prevent any visual strobing that occurs when layers of open fabric are placed in front of each other. Imitation products often suffer from this type of strobing and it can cause headaches or migraines and impede the view.
 
The S-shaped vanes of Silhouette^® Shadings can be tilted manually (or you can choose a motorised option) to achieve your desired level of light and privacy. The vanes can also be closed for complete privacy or you can completely raise your Silhouette^® Shadings to achieve a naked window look.

Pirouette^® Shadings have similar properties to the Silhouette^® range. However, the vanes are completely different.
 
Pirouette^® Shadings use 3-dimensional fabric vanes which still allow natural light to softly filter into your room. But these vanes can be tilted, opened or closed without any obvious cords obstructing your view. For complete privacy, the contoured fabric vanes can be flattened and closed. Like Silhouette^® Shadings, Pirouette^® Shadings can be completely raised to fit into a headbox at the top of your window to give a naked window look whenever you wish. Motorisation is also an option.
 
Both ranges come in a choice of vane size options and fabrics to customise the look to suit your home.
